The last week has been a whirlwind of activity on all fronts. I not only managed to finish some work, ahead of schedule, but also managed to bake and make things.
I promise a recipe is on it's way, but right now I am supposed to preparing work for tomorrow. Until I can share some baked indulgences with you, I'll just post a few pictures from things this week.
When you have a complicated quilt pattern, you need help from your cat.
When you have a busy Sunday evening, you need a lazy indulgent brunch.
love the new outfit :) everything else is beautiful as well. that quilt is going to be great!!
ReplyDeleteHope your busy Sunday evening was fabulous-- judging by the ticket wrist band, it probably was :)
OMG, where is that dress from - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat that you're keeping busy and productive. I too had a lovely Sunday brunch. Not cooked by me though :P
Hehe, the dress was made by me! It's nice to know that it looks like something you'd buy (although if you saw it more closely I'm not sure you'd think that!)
ReplyDeleteAh, Sunday brunch is always better if you don't cook it.
How's Bob? I saw him way back in 1998! lol
ReplyDeleteThe dress is beautiful, it looks so itty, bitty in that photo. Very cute.
I'm sorry about the job. The rejection gets easier over time. I have been trying to find a new job for nearly a year now, only seriously over the last two months. I'm sure the perfect job is still out there, but there was one that I too "really" wanted.
BTW...thanks for the cute owl, an official thanks is headed your way.
Hi Rebecca-
ReplyDeleteI saw Bob Dylan in the late 90s too. My hometown of Minneapolis' claim to fame is that it's were Bob Dylan got his start (well, him AND Prince).
And yes, your dress is cute.

p.s. I'm a new addition to "Mavens"!
